Shona Ferguson (19**-2021) was a creative director, producer, writer and actor for film and TV.

Biography

Born Aaron Arthur Ferguson in Gaborone, Botswana,

He was married to actress and producer Connie Ferguson and the couple have two daughters, one from Connie’s previous marriage.

Ferguson passed away on 30 July 20921 due to COVID-19 related complications.

He acted in a number of productions including The Queen and The Kings of Joburg, and with his wife produced many drama series and telenovelas for TV through their company, Ferguson Films.

He and Connie founded Ferguson Films, a company that made drama series and telenovelas for Mzansi Magic, which included The Queen, Rockville, The Wild, iGazi and The Imposter, and the Netflix series Kings of Joburg.

In June 2021, shortly before Shona's death, Ferguson Films announced the launch of its acting academy.
