The film

The film tells the story of a nursing inspector, Ella Rossouw, who has for years borne a grudge against matron Ria Vermeulen, whose two daughters, Heleen and Christa , are employed as nurses at the same hospital.

Based on the eponymous novel by Empie Maritz, the film was written and directed by Daan Retief and produced by Bill Troskie for Mimosa Films.
