Performance history in South Africa

1997: First staged, with Sitting Around the Fire, in Durban in December 1997, directed by Greig Coetzee, with Bheki Mkhwane. This production won several Vita Awards (KZN region) including Best script for a New South Africa play, Best production, Best director.

1999: The same production was staged at the Grahamstown Festival in 1999 and in the Pieter Roos Theatre at The Civic in October 1999.

2000: Presented by the Cape Town Theatre Laboratory in association with Artscape from 10 to 14 October 2000 at the Nico Arena directed by Greig Coetzee featuring Bheki Mkhwane as part of Collaborations 2000.
