Silent Movie was created by Barney Simon and cast. A satirical play in which savvy urban black man shepherds a hapless young white man lost in the new urban environment of post-apartheid South Africa

First produced at the Market Theatre in 1992 with Lionel Newton, Seputla Sebogodi, Leila Henriques, Tony Bentel and Richard Carter. Wesley France was the lighting designer and Dianne Cupsa the set/costume designer.
