Staged at The Space (Cape Town) in 1977, directed by Brian Astbury with Allen Ambor, Charles Comyn, Pippa Duffy, Phyllis Early, Andrea Fine, Guillaume and Maria Schoeman. Design by Marge Watson, graphics by Debbie May, sound by Graham Muir and stage management by Arthur Benjamin.

by Brett Bailey and the Kokstad/Bhongweni community of the Eastern Cape. (also known as Ipi Zombi?) Originating as an interactive physical theatre work, to help the commuity come to terms with the accidental death of twelve schoolboys and the accusations of witchcraft that erupted in the community. First performed formally as a play at the Grahamstown Festival in 1996. This was the original title of the play, but in 1998 it was revised and again presented in its final form as Ipi Zombi? Published under the new title, by David Graver: Drama for a New South Africa : Seven Plays (Indiana University Press, 1999)
