Write Me a Murder is a stage thriller by English playwright Frederick Knott (1916-2002) [1] written in 1960.

The original text

Produced at the Belasco Theatre in New York in October 1961. It was directed by George Schaefer and included Denholm Elliott and Kim Hunter in the cast.

1962: Produced and directed by Taubie Kushlick at the Intimate Theatre in Johannesburg, with Donald Gray (Clive Radingham), Mary Miller (Julie Sturrock), Joe Stewardson (Charles Sturrock), Phillip James (David Rodingham), Eileen Lawless (Dr Elizabeth Wooley), John Dawkins (Mr Tibbit/Constable), Simon Boys (A Man) and Peter Sand (A Man).
