Led by Alfred Woods and Maude Williamson, the company visited South Africa under the auspices of the Wheeler Brothers in 1907, with a repertoire that included The Garden of Lies (Grundy), In the Palace of the King (), The King's Mistress () and The Gates of Bondage ().

In Cape Town they performed at the Opera House, but the season was not well received by the Cape Town public.
