Wolfie Britz (also known later as Wolf Britz) (19*-) is a stage and film director, set and lighting designer and stage manager.

Biography

He studied drama at the University of Stellenbosch, later becoming an assistant theatre manager for the H.B. Thom Theatre for while.

Contribution to South African theatre, film, media and performance

Shows done include assistant director of Die Generaal and Pous Johanna II, director of Audrey (Vleis, Rys en Aartappels, 2008), Jean Genet's Diensmeisies (2008), Oorsee (Aardklop 2013);

He did the lighting for Die Seemeeu and Wie's Bang vir Virginia Woolf? (2015).

Awards

Nominated Rosalie Van Der Gucht Award for new directors for Audrey.
