Wit [1] is a 1995 play written by American playwright Margaret Edson. Set in a hospital room, it shows the final hours of Dr Vivian Bearing, a university professor of English, coming to terms with death while she is dying of ovarian cancer.

2004: Staged at the Baxter Theatre in May 2004, directed by Peter Hayes, with Jacqui Singer (Dr Vivian Bearing), David Muller, Brian Heydenrych, Quanita Adams, Claire Berlein, Steven Pillemer, Eve Szapira, Charles Tertiens and Faniswa Yisa.

2009: NAF, directed by Steven Stead.
