William Clayton (fl. 1880-1890s) was a British actor who performed in South Africa

Biography

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He visited Cape Town in 1895 with the Annie Baldwin Company to perform inter alia in Charley's Aunt (Thomas) and in A Woman of No Importance (Wilde), as "Lord Illingworth".
