There appears to have been two actors called Willem Loots engaged in South African theatre in the 20th century.

Willem Loots

According to Ludwig Binge, there was a Willem Loots who performed for Volksteater under Anna Neethling-Pohl in Pretoria in the late 1930s and early 1940s. He was apparently interned during the war for his anti-war sentiments, along with Dr Chris Neethling. He married the actress Helen Faul in London in 1951.

He performed in a number of plays for Volksteater, including Monna Vanna (1942),

Willem Jacobus Loots
