A play by British playwright Brian Clark (born 1932). Originally written for television, the stage version became a West End hit in 1978.


Performance history in South Africa

Presented by the Baxter Theatre in the early 1990s, after the author finally gave his permission for its performance in South Africa. Direction was by Keith Grenville, set and lighting design by Brian Collins. Members of the cast were Sean Taylor, Joy Stewart Spence, Michelle Fine, Basil Appollis, Bo Petersen, Ronald France, Denise Newman, Gys de Villiers, Joey Wishnia, John Springett, Michael Drin, Lulu Burger.
