Where's Your Wife? is a farce by John Vipon Bridgeman (1819-1889)[1]


The original text

Described as an "elegant comedietta", it was first performed at the Royal Strand Theatre on Monday, September 2st, 1863. Published by Thomas Hailes Lacy as Lacy's acting edition, no. 895 in 1863(?).

1866: Performed by the Le Roy-Duret Company in the Harrington Street Theatre on 9 August, with The Mutiny at the Nore (Bridgeman) and The Demon of the Forest, or Cassander a Cooper (Anon.)
