When Did You Last See My Mother?, by British playwright Christopher Hampton (1946-*). The play is a revealing, compassionate exploration of the problems experienced by an imaginative adolescent in coming to terms with his homosexuality. Published by Faber and Faber, 1967.

In South Africa it was performed by students of the University of Stellenbosch at the National Arts Festival, 1984, directed by Casper de Vries, starring Albert Nieuwoudt, Chris Buchanan, Zoettje Hofmeyr, Gustav Geldenhuys, Wanda van Zyl.
