Werner Grünbauer (fl. 1955-1974) is a actor, cinematographer, screenwriter, director and producer.

Biography

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He was active in the South African film industry between 1955 and 1974, in a variety of capacities, working , inter alia, for Protea Film Productions.

As actor:

Vrolike Vrydag 13de (1969) as a nightclub patron (uncredited) and Sononder (1971) as the Managing Director of the Apple Board (uncredited)

As cinematographer

Jungle Girl and the Slaver (1957, second camera operator), Oupa for Sale (1968, camera operator), Vrolike Vrydag 13de (1969), Die Vervlakste Tweeling (1969), Onwettige Huwelik (1970), Sononder (1971) and Oh Brother..! (1974)
