Wer Weiß, Wozu das Gut Ist ("Who knows what it is good for") is a German farce in one act by August Friedrich Ferdinand von Kotzebue (1761-1819)[1].

Performance history in South Africa

1843: Performed in Dutch as Wie Weet Waar Voor Het Goed Is? by Tot Nut en Vermaak, Cape Town, as on 14 July, with De Verzoening, of De Broedertwist (Von Kotzebue).
