Warrick Grier (19**-). Actor and director.

Biography

He graduated from the University of Cape Town in the late 1990s.

He worked in Johannesburg for several years, then studied further under Jacques Lecoq, completing his Diploma at the Lecoq school in Paris. Based in Barcelona as Artistic Director of Bantam Theatre for a time, before he returned to South Africa, specifically Cape Town, to finally settle down.

Warrick has garnered numerous national and international awards for his work, e.g. (Fleur du Cap Theatre Award, Best Actor 2000) for his role as "Barry" in The Open Couple.

In 2011 he was nominated in the best actor category for his role in Blackbird.
