Warrick Grier graduated from U.C.T. in the late 90’s. He studied further under Msr. Jacques LeCoq (R.I.P.).
Career
He worked in Johannesburg for several years. After completing his Diploma at the Lecoq school in Paris, he was based in Barcelona as Artistic Director of Bantam Theatre. After several years in Europe he returned to South Africa, specifically Cape Town, to finally settle down.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Shakespeare's Macbeth (1989).
Roles include "Barry" in The Open Couple (Fleur du Cap Theatre Award, Best Actor 2000),
He has acted in, directed and written many plays and films, and has garnered numerous national and international awards for his work.
