Vyfster: Die Slot ("five-star: the conclusion") is a feature film, made as a sequel to the series Vyfster 2.

The film

Written by Hennie Human and Johann Potgieter, with Sias Odendaal, Albie Venter and George Ballot as co-writers, directed by Sias Odendaal and George Ballot, assisted by Steven White, music by Lloyd Ross, cinematography by Tobie Swanepoel, assisted by Mark Meyer, film editing by Dee Liebenberg and Jo Rosas, costume design by Mercedes Schülein, make up by Gabriella Molnar (as Gabi Molnar), sound by John Bergman and Sid Knowles, special effects and stunts by Jannie Wienand,

The leading cast consisted of George Ballot, Patrick Mynhardt, Emgee Pretorius, Kelsey Middleton, Norman Anstey, Hannah Botha, Nobby Clark, Paul Eilers, Pierre Knoesen, Hennie Smit, Robin Smith, Willie Steyn, Flip Theron and Carel Trichardt. Rest of cast was made up of Rod Alexander, Douglas Bates, Pieter Botha, Bles Bridges, Sann de Lange, Annette Engelbrecht, Irene Frangs, Johan Niemandt, Johann Potgieter, Johannes Slabbert, Len Sparrowhawk and Hugo Taljaard.

The date of release given by various sources ranges wildly from 1985 (according to Wikipedia), 1986 (according to IMDb), 1987 (according to some databases) and even 1988 (according to Roy Armes in Dictionary of African Filmmakers).

The date 1986 seems the likeliest.
