Voor het Diner ("before the dinner") is a one act Dutch play in one act by J.A. Simons-Mees (1863-1948)[1].

Also found as Vóór het Diner.

The original text

Referred to as a "voorstukje in een bedrijf" it was first published in Amsterdam by Mij in 1889 and by the Maatschappij voor Goede en Goedkoope Lectuur, Amsterdam, in and again in 1926.

1908: Performed in Dutch as Voor het Diner (credited to "Mev. Simons-Mees") by Onze Taal in the Empress Theatre, Pretoria, on 18 June, with De Boezemvriend (Praga) and Jean Marie (Theuriet).
