Virtue in Danger [1], a musical play in 2 acts by British screenwriter Paul Dehn [2], taken from The Relapse by Sir John Vanbrugh, music by James Bernard.


The original text

First performed at the Mermaid Theatre, London 10 April, 1963. Transferred to Strand Theatre 3 June, 1963.

Performance history in South Africa

Directed by Francois Swart, presented by the Rhodes University Drama Department in September 1984, the cast including Guy de Lancey, Deon Opperman, Simon Field, Brad Rees, Sarah Cohen and others.
