A comedy by W. Vogel, translated from the High German original into Dutch by C. Sauer. Published by Amsterdam : J.G. Rohloff, 1810.

1845: Performed in Cape Town South Africa on 1 September 1843 by Door Yver Vruchtbaar, and later by the joint company Het Privaat Hollandsch Tooneellievend Gezelschap on 28 May 1845.

1849: Performed in Dutch as Vier Schildwachten op éénen Post by Tot Oefening en Vermaak on 26 September in the Hoopstraat-Skouburg (Hope Street Theatre) in Cape Town, as afterpiece to De Negers (Von Kotzebue).
