1843: Performed in Cape Town South Africa on 1 September 1843 in [[Dutch]] as ''[[Vier Schildwachten op éénen Post]]'' by [[Door Yver Vruchtbaar]], with ''[[Blanko, of De Onzigtbare Man]]'' (Anon)
 
 
 
1845: Performed in [[Dutch]] as ''[[Vier Schildwachten op eenen Post]]'' by the joint company [[Tot Nut en Vermaak en Door Yver Vruchtbaar]] in Cape Town on 28 May 1845, with (Ruysch).
 
 
 
1849: Performed in [[Dutch]] as ''[[Vier Schildwachten op éénen Post]]'' by [[Tot Oefening en Vermaak]] on 26 September  in the [[Drury Lane Theatre]] in Cape Town, as afterpiece to ''[[De Negers|De Neger]]''  (Von Kotzebue). There is also a "divertissement" called ''[[Geene Bandieten]]'' (an original work by an unknown South African author) between the two plays.
