Valvaise en Adelaide, of De Zegepraal der Vriendschap over de Liefde ("Valvaise en Adelaide, or the triumph of friendship over love") is a Dutch play in five acts by Samuel Iperuszoon Wiselius (1769-1845)[1]

Performances in South Africa

1846: Performed in Dutch by the combined company, Het Privaat Hollandsch Tooneellievend Gezelschap playing under the combined motto Tot Nut en Vermaak en Door Yver Vruchtbaar, in the Hope Street Theatre, Cape Town on 18 August, with as afterpiece De Listige Weduwe, of De Temperamenten (Von Kotzebue).
