Born Pierre Nolte, 25 November 1965 in Wellington, South Africa, He took the stage name Valiant Swart.

He performed at the KKNK Festival in 1999 in Boertige Boerneef (en die Mystic Boer) doing verses of Boerneef set to music.

Has played leads in known for Song vir Katryn (2003), Jam Sandwich (2008), Mooiloop! (2013).
