Performance history in South Africa

1955: Presented by the Mercury Players, produced by Colin Romoff, at the Library Theatre Johannesburg in September, starring Mareen Saville as the Queen Ant, Ronald Pilcher as the scientist, Reginald Lamb, Ricky Arden, Dick Clarke and Elaine Rissen. Set devised by Ronnie Philip.
