1854: Performed in Cape Town (apparently under the title [[The Two Bonnycastles]], according to Bosman 1928, p408) in late July and repaeated on Friday, 18 August,  by the [[Garrison Players|Amateur Company]] (aided by the Officers of the Garrison) in the [[Garrison Theatre]]. Also performed were ''[[Charles the Twelfth]]'' (Planche), ''[[A Peculiar Position]]'' and ''[[The Honeymoon]]'' (Tobin)
