Performance history in South Africa

1947: Sakke Vol Geld, the Leonie Pienaar Afrikaans translation was staged by K.A.T. in March 1947, directed by Pienaar.

1984: Staged by PACT, directed by Michael McCabe, with Andrew Buckland (Aubrey), Annelisa Weiland (Louise), Norman Coombes (Sprules), Carol-Ann Kelleher (Simpson), Lynne White (Miss Benita), Graham Weir (Giles), Anthony James (James), Kate Edwards (Jean), Graham Hopkins (Henery) and Kevin Smith (George).
