Tienie Stiglingh (b. Ventersdorp, 27/06/1913 – d. Pretoria, 15/06/1997) was a teacher and occasional actor.

Biography

Marthinus Johannes Stiglingh was a teacher rather than a professional actor, but in 1946 he was called upon to play Ds. Gompel in the film version of Die Wildsboudjie, directed by Arthur Bennett and Louis Knobel. Perhaps that is why, some 35 years later, director Franz Marx called upon him to play another clergyman in his film Verkeerde Nommer (1982).
