Thuli Dumakude (Daisy). (19*-) Actress, choreographer.

Biography

She married Welcome Msomi. They settled in the United States but returned to South Africa in the mid-1990s.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She played the title role in Poppie Nongena (American tour, 1983).

She starred in Umabatha in January 1974 at the Colosseum Theatre, toured worldwide with the show, and came back for another run at the Civic Theatre in 1995 and the Playhouse in Durban in 1996.

She did the choreography for Sheila's Day

Awards, etc.

She won a Vita Award (National} for her performance in Buya Africa.
