Translated into Afrikaans by Frans Swart as Daa' Gaat die Bruid! in 2016.

Performance history in South Africa

1978: Performed in English at the Academy Theatre, Johannesburg, directed by Rex Garner, with Victor Melleney, Diane Appleby, Vera Blacker, Karen-Leigh Broll, Elizabeth Rae, Melody O'Brian, Robert van Leyden.


2016: Performed in Afrikaans by Lefra Produksies as Daa' Gaat die Bruid! in the Johnny Bisschoff Hall, at the KKNK, Oudtshoorn from 24-30 March. Directed by Frans Swart with Lieb Bester, Gert van Tonder, Marga van Rooy, Cobus Venter, Debre Rossouw, Ana van Achterbergh, Phillru van Achterbergh, Edrien Erasmus.
