She studied at the University of Stellenbosch Drama Department, enrolling in 1965.

Career

After a career in teaching she started studying Drama in 1965.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She made her debut on the professional stage in Die Onwillige Weduwee (PACT, 1965).

Other roles include Antigone (by Jean Anouilh) (1965), Caesar (UTS 1965), Night Must Fall (Libertas Theatre Club 1965), Bagasie (PACT 1965), Die Pluimsaad Waai Ver (PACT 1966), Die Italiaanse Strooihoed (PACT 1966), Dokter teen Wil en Dank (PACT 1966), Die Ryk Weduwee (PACT 1968), Kringloop van die Liefde (PACT 1968), As ons twee eers getroud is (PACT 1968).
