The Wound is a play by Ted Hughes (1930-1998) [1].

The original text

Written as a radio-play, the play details the mental journey of a soldier who has been shot in the war.

Performance history in South Africa

1983: Produced by Cedric Sundström at the Wits Theatre starring Molly Seftel, John Carson, Diane Britz, Dai Bradley, Jeni-Lyn McLaren, Pamela Mills, Tracey Morris, Alexandra Furnsinn.
