In the 1860s Sutton Vane Sr (18??-18??) possibly did an adaptation of the play.

Performance history in South Africa

1867: Performed (possibly in the Sutton Vane version) on 21 and 24 October and 4 November in Cape Town by the Le Roy and Duret Company.
