First performed on 14th November, 1864, at the Royal Strand Theatre, London

Published in London by T.H. Lacy,1864.

Performance history in South Africa

1870: Performed in the Institute Assembly Hall, Cape Town, by The Young Men's Institute and Club Dramatic Company on 29 June with A Terrible Tinker (Williams).
