A musical written by Vusi Mhlongo (1999).

Subject

Deals with the intricacies of post-apartheid South Africa where a family is grappling with the continued harsh realities of, for example, xenophobia, racism and tribalism. Tackles social, political, economic and educational challenges. Against the wishes of her xenophobic family, Jabule Mthembu, a girl from Soweto, falls in love with Muselema Bundare, a former activist from the Congo. The story is told through song and dance and combines diverse dance routines from South Africa, Congo, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
