The Unwilling Fighter is a one-act play by Tania van Zyl (1908-19**).

The original text

A mix of prose and poetry, set in a futuristic world and dealing with the erosion of law and order and its replacement with a set of arbitrary rules. Treating the chicanery and greed of two generals ("Hi Sky" and "Lo Tow"), it also satirizes warmongering. Published in Contrast Vol 10 No 2, January 1976.

A companion piece to her play The Willing Victim (1961).
