The Twilight of the Golds [1] is a comedy-drama by American playwright Jonathan Tolins, written in 1992.

Subject

The play is about a Jewish family and their difficulties to reconcile a traditional culture with the advances of modern technology. The action takes place in Rob and Suzanne's New York City apartment and Walter and Phyllis's suburban kitchen.

1996: Presented by the Johannesburg Civic Theatre in association with Mannie Manim Productions, directed by Janice Honeyman, with Matthew Krouse, Jennifer Steyn, David Butler, Annabel Linder and Anthony Fridjhon. Set and costume design by Johan Engels, lighting design by Mannie Manim.
