Full title: The Spectre Bridegroom, or A Ghost in Spite of Himself

A farce, in two acts by W.T. Moncrieff (1794-1857), based on a story by Washinton Irving. First performed at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Monday, July 2, 1821 by Elliston . London : Printed by J. Tabby, 1821.

Performance history in South Africa

Performed by All the World's a Stage as a farewell for Mr H. Booth 9 March 1833 (with Wild Oats by O'Keeffe).
