The Shrike is a play by American dramatist Joseph Kramm [1] (1907-1991).


The original text

The Shrike premiered on Broadway at the Cort Theater, on January 15, 1952 and won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

Translations and adaptations

Adapted into a motion picture of the same title in 1955.
