They have agreed to be part of a psychological scheme where they live within the hospital grounds and have interviews with a psychiatrist.

The original text

The play made its Broadway debut on March 31, 1977. It is the winner of the 1977 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and Tony Award for Best Play.

Thom Theatre and 26 April 1980 at the Nico Malan Theatre starring Michael Atkinson and Keith Grenville with Diane Wilson, Roger Dwyer, Paddy Canavan, Diana Allen, Susan Gehr, Tom Holmes and Andy Wood. Roy Sargeant directed, the designer was Dicky Longhurst and lighting by Emile Aucamp. Original music by Michael Tuffin.
