Presented by the Baxter and Peoples Theatre, directed by Jill Girard, musical direction by Shirley Shearman, set and costumes designed by Lyn Leventhorpe. Choreography by Colleen MacDonald, lighting design by Marius Boshoff. The cast: Paul Ditchfield (Mr Mole), Christine le Brocq (Grandma; Queenie), Judy Broderick (Mrs Mole), Godfrey Charles (Mr Lucas; Bert), Tonya Koenderman (Mrs Lucas; Doreen Slater). The roles of Adrian, Pandora and Nigel were played by the teenagers Matthew Kaplan, Giles Barton, Helen Desbois, Candy Hillebrand and Desmond Eppel. Opening 5 September 1989 in the Baxter Concert Hall.
