The Scholar is a comedy in two acts by John Baldwin Buckstone (1802-1879)[1].

The original text

First performed at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in July, 1835. First performed in News York at Wallack's Theatre in 1854.

Published in London as No 834 of Dick's Standard Plays in 18** and in New York by O.A. Roorbach [186-?]
