Performance history in South Africa

1956: First produced in South Africa by the Brian Brooke Company, opening 13 November 1956, with Joan Blake, Diane Wilson (as Jane), English actress Betty Blackler (1929-2015) [2], directed by Michael Finlayson.

The performance on 26 November 1956 in which many theatre and radio personalities were involved was in aid of Hungary.

1957: Taken on tour (1957) to the then Transvaal and Southern and Northern Rhodesia, with Separate Tables.

1964: Leonne Carnot, Brian Brooke, Cynthia Klette at the Brooke Theatre until January 1965.

1966 or 1967: Produced by The Sandowners directed by Eris Malan, date and venue unknown.
