The Prize, or 2,5,3,8, is a musical farce in two acts by Prince Hoare (1755-1834)[1].

The original text

First performed by His Majesty's company, with music by Storace. Published in Dublin by F. Farquhar,1793.

Translations and adaptations

Translated into Dutch as De Lotery Prys, of No. 2,5,3,8, by an anonymous Cape Town Amateur for the company Door Yver Bloeit de Kunst.
