An English translation of Játék a kastélyban ("The play in the castle", 1925) by Hungarian playwright Ferenc Molnár (1878-1952)[1].

Translated into English as The Play in the Castle,
It has twice been adapted in English, by P.G. Wodehouse as The Play's the Thing in 1926, and by Tom Stoppard as Tom Stoppard as Rough Crossing in 19**.
Translated into Afrikaans as Gekonkel in die Nag ("Schemes in the night")
Performance history in South Africa
1943: Produced by the Johannesburg Repertory Society, with Frank Douglass in 1943.
1956: Produced by National Theatre Organisation in 1956.
