The Music Lesson is a burlesque number by an unknown author.

Sometimes found listed simply as Music Lesson.

The original text

Described as a "Nigger Burlesque" by an unnamed author (as cited in F.C.L. Bosman, 1980: p. 264), it was apparently performed in blackface in South Africa. No other trace of such a song or burlesque has yet been found.
