The Ministry in a Fix is a locally written sketch by St John Knight (fl. late 1870s)

The original text

It was a sketch about current affairs in the Cape that included impersonations of the then Governor of the Cape and John X. Merriman.

It was performed in the Good Hope Gardens as part of a "Gala Night" on 9 February, 1878.
