The Meeting is a 1987 play by American writer Jeff Stetson [1] about an imaginary meeting between Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X in a hotel in Harlem.

Performance history in South Africa

198*: Presented at the Market Theatre, directed by John Kani in the late 1980s.

1992: Performed Upstairs at the Market starring Sydney Chama and Louis Seboko in February 1992.

2017: A Market Theatre production featured Brendon Daniels, Aubrey Poo and Litha Bam. Some of the performances were attended by the author, on his first visit to South Africa.
