by Christopher Fry. A popular verse play about Joan of Arc. Premiered at the Arts Theatre in London in March 1948, starring Alec Clunes.

1951: First staged in South Africa by the University Players in 1951, starring Philip Birkenshaw, Molly Seftel and Margaret Inglis.

1956: The Arena Theatre Company, with Jenny Gratus, Robert Lang and Will Jamieson),

197*: the Langford-Inglis Company and NAPAC, directed by Margaret Inglis, with Michael Atkinson and Nan Munro),
